Left Panama City for Peru for more Vacation. Scored an upgrade from the very back row of economy to business class, made the short flight that much better. Had a late bite to eat at Siete. Went for a little walk along the waterfront Malecón de Miraflores. The views were great! This was about the last time my tour guide was enjoyable to be around.
Plan was to live in Lima, so to rent a condo & live in Lima I had to go to a government office for a permission document. The tour guide sent me to the wrong place, twice, (she really was totally useless), the second place the line was blocks long (see below). Then she suggested I use her friend a Lima lawyer to give a bribe to a Lima government official. $100 bucks and the lawyer “karelyne de lima” gave me the needed piece of paper. So if you want to get something done in Lima get a lawyer to pass a bribe on for you.
I spent a couple nights in a hotel then had an awesome vrbo place on the Malecon right by the Miraflores Skate Park.
